On Saturday, April 7th, Nigma Galaxy, a prominent Dota 2 team from Western Europe, made an announcement regarding their roster changes. They shared that they have moved their player Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf to their inactive roster. In the meantime, Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi will be making a temporary return to the team as a stand-in for Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 19.

Nigma Galaxy, a notable team in the Dota 2 esports scene, has undergone a roster change following a series of setbacks in the ongoing 2023 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season. Unfortunately, the team missed out on the Lima Major during the Winter Tour. It was subsequently relegated to Division II in the recently concluded Spring Tour regional league for Western Europe. As a result, Nigma Galaxy made the decision to make changes to their roster in order to improve their performance in future tournaments.

Last November, ATF left OG during the offseason and joined Nigma Galaxy as a replacement for Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, who had to take a break from Dota 2 competitive play due to health issues. However, Miracle- now making a temporary comeback and standing in for Nigma Galaxy for DreamLeague Season 19.

Although DreamLeague Season 19 is not part of the DPC, it boasts a US$1 million prize pool and features 16 of the best teams in the circuit. The tournament presents an opportunity for Nigma Galaxy to redeem themselves and make a statement in the Dota 2 esports community.

Nigma Galaxy’s absence from the initial list of participating teams in DreamLeague Season 19 caught the attention of the Dota 2 community. However, the team later joined the tournament to replace the Chinese team PSG.LGD, who encountered visa issues and could not attend. The organizers have scheduled the event to take place from April 9th to April 23rd.
