Reports from insiders in the gaming industry suggest that the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) might be in development and nearing an official announcement. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, is expected to release details about the new game, probably GTA 6, during its upcoming investors call on May 17.
One of the hints comes from a tweet by Hip Hop Gamer, who posted a cryptic message and a photo with Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick. The tweet hinted at a “forever moment to remember” related to GTA 6, which fueled speculations about Hip Hop Gamer’s potential involvement or access to insider information.
Another source of rumors is Tez2, a known insider in the Rockstar community, who suggested that the forthcoming Summer Update for GTA Online might contain hints or teasers related to GTA 6, which is also sometimes referred to as GTA VI.
Despite years of speculation, Rockstar Games has not confirmed or denied the development of GTA 6, and the last major release of the franchise, GTA V, was launched a decade ago. Nonetheless, the gaming community remains excited about the possibility of a new game that could match or surpass the immersive atmosphere and stunning visuals of the previous titles.
