The much-awaited schedule for the group stage of the Berlin Major 2023 has finally been released, and fans can look forward to five days of non-stop competition across four different live streams. With a prize pool of USD 500K, teams will be battling hard for the lion’s share of the 2700 DPC points available to secure their place at The International 12.
The Berlin Major 2023 is not just any tournament, it’s an opportunity for teams to earn valuable DPC points and gain recognition in the competitive scene.
ESL One Berlin Major 2023: Format
The Berlin Major 2023 will start on April 26th and last till May 7th, bringing together the best Dota 2 teams worldwide to compete for the champion title.
Group Stage:
The Tournament’s Group Stage features a single round-robin stage, where each match will follow a best-of-2 (Bo2) format. This means that each team will face off against every other team in their respective groups.
The top 4 teams will advance to the Upper Bracket Playoffs. While the 5th and 6th teams will advance to lower-bracket playoffs.
Other remaining teams will be eliminated from the Tournament.
Playoffs
12 Teams will play in the playoffs. 8 Teams from the upper bracket and 4 Teams from the lower bracket.
All matches of playoffs will be Best-of-Three (Bo3) Except the Grand Finale. The Grand final will be of Best-of-Five (Bo5).
