Delhi-based Medal Esports joins Skyesports Masters, aiming for victory in India's first franchised esports league, competing in CS:GO for a massive prize pool.

Delhi-based esports organization, Medal Esports, has officially become the sixth franchise to participate in the Skyesports Masters tournament.

With their sights set on conquering India’s inaugural franchised esports league, Medal Esports will be competing in the popular game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) for a chance to claim both glory and a substantial share of the impressive Rs. 2,00,00,000 prize pool.

Scheduled to commence on July 8 and run until August 17, the Skyesports Masters will feature an intense League Stage where eight franchised teams will engage in exhilarating round-robin action over the course of several weeks.

The top 4 teams from the League Stage will move to the Playoffs. It will take place on August 26 and 27. These Playoffs will showcase the nation’s finest CS: GO rosters as they vie for the coveted title of champions.

Anticipated to be a groundbreaking LAN event for Indian esports, the Skyesports Masters is poised to captivate audiences like never before.

Expressing his excitement about Medal Esports’ inclusion in the Skyesports Masters, Kabir Kohli, Founder and CEO of Medal Esports, highlighted the significance of this tournament for Indian esports.

Kohli stated, “Our participation in the Skyesports Masters not only fulfills our long-standing dream of having a team in CS: GO but also aligns perfectly with our vision of competing in top-tier tournaments.

With its franchised model, this event holds great significance for Indian esports as it will promote Counter-Strike from the grassroots with the cafe qualifiers and provide commercial viability to the teams.

Medal Esports Plans

Medal Esports plans to unveil its seven-man roster for the Skyesports Masters in the near future.
